At FIT MONKEYS we realize that exercise and proper nutrition are essential for living a fit life. However, we also acknowledge the importance of challenging the brain. Studies have shown that through challenging mental actives such as reading, puzzles, and learning something new individuals can prevent age related brain shrinkage, prevent dementia, increase grey matter of the brain, increase neuro-genesis in hippo-campus, and possibly fight depression.


That's why at FIT MONKEYS we encourage our clients to read a book a week and to use their cultivated physical fitness to challenge their brain through puzzles or learning something new!
